To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil, the Department of Libraries and Documentation at PUC-Rio has selected from its holdings some rare works related to the event, now offered here in this virtual exposition.

The curator is Elizeu de Araujo Lima, researcher and expert in rare works.
